PROPS
Tubular props used as batt supports are available in a range
of heights. Any prop can be increased in height by the addition of an
interlocking extension piece or two props can be joined together by means of a
prop connector. Prop Sizes: All props 20mm internal diameter, 30mm external
diameter.

CASTELLATED PROPS
These props are 25mm working height. These are for fitting
into each other to a maximum height of 250mm (10 props) for stability. Maximum
firing temperature 1300°C.
STAR STILTS
The star stilt was developed to eliminate unsightly silt
marks. It is very economical to use due to it's long dependable life. The points
are of special alloy metal. These stilts must only be used for firings up to
1200°C (Cone 5). They can be purchased individually. Walker Ceramics stock
sizes from 18mm point to point up to 115mm point to point.

ROD STILTS
These stilts are used for items such as doll's heads
where the piece needs to be stilted but there is no solid base on which to stand
the piece. The rod supports the piece from the inside and the edges rest on the
pins in the base of the stilt.
